WHAT IS WORSHIP?
Worship is our partnership with the Holy Spirit and all of heaven to bring glory to King Jesus in all things. It is for what we are created (Rom 11:36, 12:1; Eph 1).
When we gather as living stones, we create a sanctuary within which God’s presence dwells. “Church” is a celebration of God’s presence in our midst as we minister to Him, and far more significantly, as He has His way with us (1 Pet 2:5; Eph 2:22, 3:19).
One way we can express our worship is through music and song. Singing is a way to participate with the ever-praising culture of heaven. The music that we sing serves to take us into greater adoration, thanksgiving and praise to God; guiding our emotions, thoughts, and bodies into rhythm with his heart and will, powerfully reminding us of who He is, what He has done, and what He has promised.
WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is the dynamic forefront of every believer’s relationship with God by the Holy Spirit. It is communion with God, advocation for the needy (intercession, supplication), and warfare against the enemy. It moves inward—changing us; outward—affecting circumstances around us; and upward—expressing devotion to God.
Prayer at WOL is fundamental to what we do here. We desire to be known as a praying people, not in simply spilling our requests at his feet, but also taking the time to listen and know our Shepherd’s voice.
Isaiah 56:7 “…for my house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations.”
Women's Intercessory Prayer
Thursday's 7pm, WOL Upper Level
This is an opportunity to give and receive personal spiritual support through prayer. We also pray for needs within the corporate church, staff, leadership, ministries and missions. The prayer group invites prayer requests involving individuals from church congregation or the community. We welcome anyone to come and personally share their prayer request or participate in prayer for others.

Weekday Morning Prayer
Monday-Friday 6:30am-7:30am
Come and join other fellow believers spending time in prayer.
Morning prayer will be from 6:30am-7:30am daily Monday to Friday. Join us in the sanctuary!
Open Sanctuary Prayer Time
Tuesday's 10am-3pm, WOL Sanctuary
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11 28-30
Come, pray, journal, rest, and just breathe. Our sanctuary is open for prayer and reflection Tuesday's 10am-3pm.
